About Me

It's the Rachée show!

Sometimes I wear glasses

Who is Rachée?

Yes, Rah-shay.
Not Ruh-chey. Not Rah-chey. Not Rachel. Not Roxanne.
Rachée.
Say it Rah-shay.
I wear many a crocheted hats.
Among them are mom to The Bee, my tween.
Hooker (as in crochet. Get yo mind out of the gutter!)
Daughter to Mom
Twin (this gal's sister)
Library chick (Children's librarian. Close your mouth; we don't all have buns.)
Book lover
Non-discriminating channel surfer (Golly I love trash TV)
Wogger (My goal is to Look Better Naked.)

As I do here

Wait...why "Say it Rah-shay"?

You know those "Hello my name is..." deals that one wears at a conference, meeting, gathering? I would get mine and dutifully wear it, and would always be greeted with "Hello, Ray-chee!"  Because as one person helpfully informed me, 'My name is grammatically incorrect'.
Whatevs.
I started putting the correct pronunciation of my name on name tags, e-mails, letters and it stuck.

So...what is 'Say it Rah-shay' all about?

I toss around the term "memoir blogger" (this is my life, yo!), "lifestyle blogger" (this is my so called life) but really Say it Rah-shay is the virtual soapbox where I share my life, talk about parenting a tween (And where is What to Expect When Your Child Hits Puberty?).

On the blog you'll find book reviews, yarnthings, workthing, kidthings.
I write a little bit about a lot of things.
